These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of LearningChief, including our website, application, custom worksheet generation engines, AI handwriting marking tools, pre-built downloadable printable bundles, subscription features, and related services (together, the “Service”).

The Service is operated by MENTIUS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17122926, with its registered office at 60 Tottenham Court Road, Area 1/1, Suite 22, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW (“LearningChief”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, using the Service, purchasing a bundle, starting a subscription, or otherwise accessing LearningChief, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. What LearningChief Is and Accuracy of AI

LearningChief provides custom educational worksheet creation, pre-built printable libraries, and AI-assisted marking feedback tools for home learning, parenting, and tutoring support.

  • While our AI toolkit is highly advanced, automated image and handwriting tracking can occasionally vary due to child handwriting variances, neatness, or camera lighting conditions.
  • Our tools are designed for general supplemental educational and coaching purposes only. They are not a substitute for formal, regulated school assessments or certified academic diagnoses.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) & Usage License

The Service, including its underlying software, custom AI prompt architecture, worksheet layout engines, downloadable PDF printable bundles, designs, graphics, branding, and progress-tracking dashboards, is owned exclusively by MENTIUS LTD or its licensors.

  • Your subscription or one-off bundle purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, home, or single-classroom educational use only.
  • You strictly cannot copy, resell, commercially exploit, redistribute, or bulk-share any content downloaded or generated from LearningChief on external public cloud drives, social media groups, or competitive platforms.
  • You retain ownership of any child worksheet photos you upload. You grant us the processing rights necessary to securely transmit, analyze, and display those inputs to return automated marking results.

3. VIP Memberships and AI Credit Fair Usage

  • VIP members receive a specific recurring monthly allotment of AI credits depending on their subscription tier (40 credits for Monthly VIP, and 50 credits for Yearly VIP).
  • Monthly VIP credits refresh upon successful renewal payment processing. Yearly VIP credits are automatically dropped into the user account on a monthly cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the following month.
  • Any attempts to bypass credit limits, use automated web scraping scripts, or reverse-engineer our worksheet generation formulas are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate account ban without a refund.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Stripe Payments

Where you purchase a paid bundle or recurring membership, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase. All financial payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not directly store your credit or debit card details on our servers. Subscription renewals are charged automatically in advance unless cancelled.

5. Subscription Cancellation & The 14-Day Digital Rule

You can cancel your Monthly or Yearly VIP tier at any time directly through your account dashboard settings, which will stop all future automated renewal charges at the conclusion of your current billing period.

  • Immediate Digital Access Waiver: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel digital service distance contracts. However, by upgrading to a VIP plan and requesting immediate access to download premium printables or spend AI creation credits, you acknowledge that these digital features are delivered to you instantly and that you lose this 14-day cancellation right once the digital supply has begun, except where required otherwise by law.

6. Refund Policy

Unless required by UK consumer law, payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds for unused monthly credits, partial subscription periods, accidental purchases, or failure to cancel before an automated renewal date. We will happily process a refund if there has been a technical duplicate charge or a systemic billing error caused directly by us. Refund requests can be sent to support@learningchief.com.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law, MENTIUS LTD will not be liable for any direct or indirect educational setbacks, specific exam outcomes, accurate/inaccurate marking feedback misinterpretations, platform service interruptions, or third-party server outages (including Stripe or AI hosting architecture). Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the website is strictly limited to the greater of: the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose; or £100.

8. Governing Law, Complaints, and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@learningchief.com so we can resolve it directly. We will acknowledge your support ticket within 5 business days and aim to provide a full solution within 14 business days.
